The Department of Labour Law is one of the key departments in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. It primarily deals with legislation – preparing and implementing appropriate solutions into the legal system, including those stemming from EU and international law. This primarily concerns individual labour law and occupational health and safety issues. We face significant challenges, including the implementation of the Pay Transparency Directive, the Platform Directive and numerous issues related to employee parental rights. I hope that my research experience will add value to the department's work and help create better, modern labour law
