The Congress focused on the challenges of agricultural law in protecting agricultural activity and the environment in mountain areas.
Protection of forest ecosystems in the Dolomites was discussed during two study visits. The first took participants to the Altopiano del Cansiglio Forest District, where they attended a lecture on threats to forest resources and the objectives of a project aimed at restoring natural resources in the Carnic and Belluno Prealps. The second visit was devoted to the thousand-year-old Régale d'Ampezzo common land community and the Ampezzo Dolomites National Park.
All presentations delivered during the Congress have been published in a monograph available in PDF format on the UMAU website.
