The Jubilee 10th Edition of Student Research Grants

If you have the courage to change the face of Polish science and want to engage in innovation and research development at UniLodz, the Student Research Grants are for you. We're launching a series of training sessions introducing students to the event's format in September, whereas you'll be able to try your hand at applying starting in October.

Training

Twelve training sessions are scheduled from 25 September to 30 October of the current year. All dates are available on the training registration form. Most of the sessions will be held on-site at the University of Lodz Library, but one online meeting is also planned. We want the sessions to be as interactive as possible, so even if you don't have an idea for your research project yet, feel free to come! Together, we can develop a framework for your research project.

 

Schedule

Below, we present the schedule for this year's edition:

  • Training sessions: 22 September – 31 October  
  • Submitting applications: 1 October – 31 October  
  • Formal assessment: 4 November – 12 November  
  • Content-related assessment: 13 November – 15 January
  • Development and announcement of the ranking list: 16 January – 14 February  
  • Grant payments: 2nd half of February 2026
  • Additional round of application evaluation: 23 – 28 February
  • Grant payments from the second round: mid-March 2026
