At this year's conference, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz was represented by Dr Izabela Florczak, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Projects. The event was devoted to the topic "Artificial Intelligence and Legal Education – Exploring the Impact of AI on Legal Education and Professions". Discussions focused on the impact of AI on legal education and the functioning of the legal professions, including evolving competencies and teaching methods.

The presence of the UniLodz Faculty of Law and Administration at the conference was particularly significant in the context of its recent accession to ELFA – it enabled active participation in the debate led by the most important European law centres and strengthened the Faculty’s position in the international academic community.

It's crucial to actively participate in the debate on the future of legal education in Europe. The development of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, requires not only reflection but also real changes in the way we educate future lawyers. I'm pleased that we were able to renew our cooperation within ELFA and re-engage in this international dialogue
– says Dr Izabela Florczak.

The participation in the event also created a space for exchanging experiences and establishing new contacts with representatives of European law faculties.
