Sicily, International Law, and Artificial Intelligence: UL Students Form the Largest Delegation at Erasmus+ BIP in Enna

The University of Lodz delegation was the largest group of international participants in the programme. Throughout the intensive week, students worked in multicultural teams, prepared expert papers, and took part in simulations and a moot court exercise devoted to cyberspace, sustainable development, artificial intelligence, and European law.

From 11 to 15 May, students of the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz, represented the University of Lodz during the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) GREEN-AI EU: "Be green, be European, don't be (too much) artificial! Towards a sustainable European Way of Life within a fast-changing world", organised by Università degli studi di Enna "Kore" in cooperation with the Centre for Research on International Law in Cyberspace, "Lodz Cyber Hub", University of Lodz.

Beyond the academic programme, the week was also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Sicilian culture and hospitality, with students exploring the island's landscape and heritage.

The programme brought together participants from Poland, Georgia, Spain, and Slovenia, creating a unique environment for international cooperation and interdisciplinary exchange of experience.

We are pleased that this exchange also runs the other way: from 20 to 25 July, Lodz Cyber Hub at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz, will host students and staff from Enna during the Summer School on Internet Governance and International Law (SSIGIL) 2026.
