The award was presented to dr hab. Tomasz Duraj, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz (Head of the Centre for Atypical Employment Relations at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz) for his outstanding contribution to the development of labour law and his commitment to the protection of employees by the Regional Labour Inspector in Lodz, Agnieszka Woźniak, on behalf of the Chief Labour Inspector, Marcin Stanecki.
This is a great honour and distinction, as well as a commitment to further work – said dr hab. Tomasz Duraj, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz.
The ceremony gave the conference a unique character and underlined the significance of cooperation between science, public institutions and legal practice.
Dr hab. Tomasz Duraj, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, works at the Department of Labour Law, Social Security and Social Policy at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz, where he conducts research and teaching activities, as well as provides expert advice on atypical forms of employment. He analyses their legal and practical aspects, assesses the effectiveness of existing regulations, proposes directions for legislative changes and supports public and private institutions in resolving problems related to their application. He also conducts training courses, organises conferences and prepares scientific publications on this topic.
Prof. Duraj has been the Head of the Centre for Atypical Employment Relations at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz for years and the supervisor of the Student Forum for Atypical Employment Relations.
